On the Agenda as Consent Agenda Resolutions for the Piscataway Township Council meeting of November 29, 2005 and approved by the council were the following:

(ii) Authorizing Professional Services Contract with T&M for Halper Farm Litigation Proceedings - Amount not to exceed $15,000.00

and

14-K RESOLUTION - Authorizing Change Order No. 1 - Monoritoring Well Installation and Delineation Sampling Halper Farm - PMK Group- Increase of $22,150.00: Original Contract $75,000.00; Revised Contract $97,150.00.

Looks like the Piscataway Council got themselves a "Pig in the Poke". Council answers to General questions addressing these expenses leads you to believe contamination was discovered on the property and there are concerns as to whether or not there is ground seepage to properties nearby.
