Earn Up to $200 on Election Day Working as a Republican Poll Worker in Piscataway!
What is a poll worker?
Poll workers are the people who handle the voter registration books and help
operate the voting machines at each election district. This is a very important civic function.
Who pays the poll workers?
Middlesex County pays each trained poll worker $200 for the day. A trained poll
worker is someone who attends a free 1 hour class that teaches the ins and outs
of being a poll worker. You must take this class once every two years to receive full
compensation. The county makes several of these classes available prior
to each primary and general election.
Piscataway
The township has 39 election districts, and the Republican Party can put two
poll workers at each district. This means there are 78 poll worker positions that must be filled
every election. Call today if you want to be a poll worker for the June Primary
